“I had to change the way I ate or else I was going to die. It was then when I realized that nutrition can provide life or death.”
Meet Bonita
As a Self-Care expert, she is dedicated to teaching the natural principles of living. For many years, Bonita suffered from health issues and almost lost her life three times going under the knife. Fortunately, she survived each traumatic surgery and one day decided that she did not want to submit to being a prescription drug addict. Instead, Bonita discarded every prescribed pill and never looked back.
Bonita created a grassroots non-profit 501(C)3 wellness organization, Dianne's Call, whose mission is to connect families to fresh fruits and vegetables. Bonita's vision to master the principles of sustainability led her to initiate the all-female farm team, 'FarmaSIS.
Bonita created the holistic philosophy S.P.I.C.E Nutrition -Spiritual Physical Intellectual Cultural and Emotional Nutrition. She received her certification as a Health Counselor from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, a Master's degree in Public Health from the University of South Carolina and a Bachelor's degree in Business and Economics from Benedict College.
